1

Register as a Partner

Go to towersassetgroup.com/affiliate and complete the partner registration (takes 5 minutes). You'll receive:

  • Your unique referral link (e.g., funding.towersassetgroup.com/?ref=YOURCODE)
  • Access to the partner portal to track referrals and earnings
  • Our referral agreement for your records
2

Identify Clients Who Qualify

Use the Client Qualification Checklist to screen clients before making introductions. The strongest candidates:

  • Need $15,000-$500,000 in working capital
  • Have been in business 1+ years
  • Have $15,000-$250,000+/month in bank deposits
  • Have been turned down by their bank for a line of credit or SBA loan
  • Have a specific use of funds: expansion, equipment, inventory, payroll bridge
You don't need to pre-qualify them precisely; that's our job. Just make sure they're legitimate businesses with real revenue. Referring clients who have 5+ NSFs every month or no revenue will waste everyone's time.
3

Make the Introduction

The simplest way: forward your client an email with your referral link. Here is a template:

4

We Handle the Entire Process

Once your client applies through your referral link, we take over completely:

  • Application review and initial qualification
  • Document collection: the signed application and business bank statements upfront. A client ID and a voided business check are not needed to apply and are requested only after approval.
  • Underwriting and offer generation, timeline set by the funding provider
  • Terms presentation and client questions
  • Funding after approval, timeline set by the funding provider

You are not involved in any of these steps. We do not ask your client for your personal information or involve you in the transaction.

You'll receive a notification when your referred client funds. No paperwork on your end; your referral link tracks the deal from click to funding.

Disclosure Guidance for CPAs

Most state CPA boards require disclosure of referral fee arrangements to clients. We recommend including a brief disclosure in your client engagement letter or the referral email itself:

Disclosure Language Template
"Please be aware that I may receive a referral fee from Towers Asset Group LLC if you obtain funding through their program. This arrangement does not affect the advice I provide you, and you are under no obligation to use their services."

This is general guidance only. Consult your state's CPA board rules for specific requirements in your jurisdiction. See the CPA FAQ for more compliance information.

How to Build MCA Referrals Into Your CPA Practice Systematically

The most successful CPA referral partners don't wait for capital conversations to come up organically. They build simple systems that surface opportunities during existing client workflows.

During tax season (Jan-April)

Review each business return for: revenue growing faster than cash, end-of-year cash balance under 2 months of expenses, or owner's draws that suggest the business is cash-constrained. Flag these clients for a follow-up working capital conversation.

During quarterly reviews

Add a single question to your quarterly review agenda: "Do you have everything you need to execute your plan for the next 90 days?" A client who hesitates is a capital referral candidate.

When a client mentions a bank decline

This is your highest-conversion moment. The client is actively in "find capital" mode. A same-day introduction to T.A.G. converts at very high rates because you're solving the problem immediately when the pain is highest.

After onboarding a new client

New CPA clients who are switching firms often have unresolved financial challenges. Include a working capital assessment in your onboarding process: "I also work with businesses that need working capital, if that's ever relevant I can connect you with a trusted partner."
