CPA Partner Resources

Core Business Qualification

In business for 1+ years — or at minimum 6 months with strong revenue
Monthly deposits $15,000 or more — their bank statements show at least $15K/month average
Active business bank account — not using personal checking for business transactions
US-based business with a physical address or verifiable location

Cash Flow Health Indicators

0–2 NSFs in their most recent bank statement
Positive average daily balance (not consistently near zero)
Deposits occur at least 3–4 times per week (not one large monthly deposit)
No active liens, judgments, or garnishments on the business account

Existing Obligations

0 or 1 existing MCA positions currently active
Current MCA payments (if any) represent less than 20% of monthly revenue
No active merchant processing holdbacks exceeding 15% of daily deposits

Use of Funds (Clarity = Better Outcomes)

Client can articulate a specific use: equipment, inventory, payroll bridge, expansion, marketing
Requested amount is proportional to monthly revenue (not asking for 5× their monthly deposits)
Use of funds generates revenue or solves a specific cash flow gap — not debt consolidation or personal use

Disqualifiers — Check These Last

If any of these apply, do not refer this client at this time.

5+ NSFs in any of the last 3 months
3 or more active MCA positions currently deducting daily
Active bankruptcy (Chapter 7 or Chapter 11)
Under $8,000/month in average deposits — below minimum threshold
Client needs the advance to pay off other MCA positions — consolidation requests rarely fund well
